General information

Background: The Vineyard Primary School was established in 1857, originally housed in the crypt of a local congregational Church. In 1867, the school moved to a Victorian building, opened by Lord John Russell. The original infant school was situated in Marchmont Road from 1962 until 1974. In September 1984, the junior school moved to its current site in Friar?s Stile Road. The two schools were then amalgamated in 1992 to form the current Vineyard Primary School, which is a Richmond upon Thames community school. The school has two dedicated libraries. The school aims to provide a safe, caring and happy environment.
