General information

Background: Bishop David Sheppard Primary School was founded in 1989 with the amalgamation of two smaller Church schools. It is housed in a modern flat-roof building with its own golf course. There is a play area at the front of the school and new additions include an activity trail, pond, vegetable garden, picnic benches with sunshades and a playhouse for the younger children. The school also has a large field, which is in use for most of the school year. The school has a good links with the Church and local community. It is currently involved in a two-year programme of further developing inclusive education. Bishop David Sheppard Church of England Primary School is a caring establishment that has a child-centred approach and wants children to feel happy and safe whilst at school.
