General information
Background: Tapton is situated on the south-western outskirts of Sheffield on the borders of Peak National Park. The new school building is opened in September 2000, with enhanced facilities. There is a wide range of extra-curricular activities including sport, drama and music. The school has Specialist Science College Status and Artsmark Gold. The school aims to provide a happy, caring, supportive environment where children feel safe and encouraged to grow to be the best that they can be.
