General information
Background: Hockley Heath Primary has served the community since 1850, moving to its present site in 1913, being enlarged in 1947 and modernised in 1990. The large, semi-rural site has 'extensive' grounds with a separate nature conservation area. After-school clubs include French, modern dance, football, netball, rounders and choir and pupils benefit from residential visits to Holland and France, a music centre and a computer weekend. Hockley Heath is a member of the school sports assocation and pupils have the option of learning the guitar, violin, saxophone, flute or trumpet. Each year the school raises money for charity.
