General information
Background: The college has developed from the secondary school established on the site in 1921. In 1945 it became a grammar school and in 1974 the three-tier system which was established in the Frome area. Although the further education college section was closed in 1992, the Frome Community College was established as a co-educational comprehensive school. The school has a well equipped library resource centre, science laboratories including new laboratories, technology suite including catering facilities, art suite including a dark room, two potteries and textile printing facilities. In addition there are dedicated facilities for humanities, English and Modern Languages. The college aims to encourage pupils to make full contribution to the life of the college and to achieve their full potential. .
