General information
Background: Built around 60 years ago, the 'attractive' school building consists of three classrooms, a staff room, cloakroom and kitchen, and recent building work has provided a suite of administration rooms and new wet area provision for the junior classroom, plus a new infant play area outside. This is surrounded by 'pleasant' grassed and flowered areas, an environmental area and a 'good sized' playground and football pitch. The school is able to use the village hall next door for physical education and other activities, thanks to their 'excellent' relationship with the Village Recreation Trust. A number of after-school clubs are offered, such as football, netball, fly fishing, choir and library club.
