General information
Background: The school opened in 1958 and is named after St Dunstan who was born in nearby Baltonsborough and Abbot in Glastonbury before becoming Archbishop of Canterbury. St Dunstans is about a mile from the town centre and is set in attractive grounds. This school has the potential to truly enrich the education of the whole person, to add a greater sense of enjoyment, collaboration and celebration to students learning. The school offers a extra-curricular activities including: rugby, cricket, hocket, soccer, netball, athletics, rounders and tennis. The school aims to provide a safe, caring environment in which individuals can develop and flourish.
