General information

Background: A non-denominational comprehensive, which opened in 1956 in a building of unique design by Sir Basil Spence. As the school developed, other buildings and facilities were provided on the one campus. These include purpose-built accommodation for science and technical education and special facilities for all subjects. There are ample playground and recreational areas. Duncanrig Sports Centre is situated in the school grounds and the school has prior use throughout the school day and preferential access at other stated times. Working with parents, we seek to develop its pupils personally, socially and academically. The school aims to provide a safe and pleasant environment for effective learning. .
