General information
Background: The school founded in 1614. In 2003, £8 million building refurbishment completed, creating the most modern science, technology and IT accommodation as well as a new sixth-form centre and study facilities. The school also has two new hockey pitches and four tennis courts. School also provides joint hockey and rugby tours to New Zealand, Portugal and Barcelona. Three annual scholarships are awarded to school-leavers to spend in a school in New Zealand. The school is situated just outside the centre of the town of Dungannon, a peaceful market town in the centre of the Province. The school aims to provide a stimulating all-round education, based upon first-class academic standards.
