General information

Background: All Saints CofE (C) Primary School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. The original school was established following a Trust Deed written in 1839. The first school was opened in 1875 in Mill End Lane and known as Alrewas National Infants School. It later became a primary school. In the 1970?s a new school was built on the present site in Furlong Close. The building development was over a number of years with the infants occupying the new site while the juniors remained at the old school. When the two-storey junior block was completed, the new school was officially opened and dedicated in September 1977. In 2001, two additional classrooms were constructed to accommodate the growing needs of Alrewas? increase in population. Children are encouraged to join the various clubs that run either during the lunchtime or after school, including drama, computer, gardening, netball, football, athletics and cycling proficiency.
