Background: Chasetown Specialist Sports College is an 11 to 18 mixed comprehensive, serving mainly the south and south eastern areas of Burntwood. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities, based on sport, music, art and drama, as well as subject-based clubs. The college organises a large number of day and residential visits, including geography and biology field trips, visits to London, trips to Drayton Manor Park, rugby trips to Twickenham, ski trips and European concert tours and study visits. The school aims to provide a positive, safe and stimulating environment, which inspires an enthusiasm for learning of its students. .
