Background: Edgecliff High School is an 11 to 18 co-educational comprehensive school providing education for about 700 students. It is located in a beautiful rural village setting and serves a wide area comprising the South Staffordshire villages of Kinver, Stourton, Swindon, Bobbington and Trysull. The curriculum offers a broad but balanced range of challenging experiences, presented in a way that is relevant to modern life. There has been considerable investment in ICT equipment and major refurbishment of the design and technology and science areas. Edgecliff High School is strongly committed to offer a wide range of activities to its students. The following activities are available at lunchtimes or after school: hockey, netball, rounders, cricket, basketball, badminton, soccer and tennis.
