General information

Background: Riverside is a middle school catering for pupils from nine to 13 years. The school, near the town centre and at the heart of its community, stands in large landscaped grounds with excellent sporting facilities. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include music, sport, chess, art and craft, computers and science. Regular sporting fixtures are organised with other schools and the school is proud of the fact that many of its pupils have successfully represented Suffolk in a variety of games. Educational visits are also arranged to enhance the curriculum. These visits include museums, art galleries, castles, theatre, farms and coastlines. The school aims to provide a calm, positive and purposeful environment. .
