General information

Background: The present school was opened in 1984 to replace the Stratford St Mary and Raydon village schools. It is situated in the heart of 'Constable Country' in the beautiful Stour Valley. Outdoors there is a large sports field, hard surface playground, adventure-playground and climbing frame. Music is taught in accordance with the national curriculum programmes of study. Children are offered the chance to participate in school productions. A wide range of physical activities, sports and games are offered including the opportunity to compete in inter-school team games and after-school clubs. The school aims to provide calm, positive and purposeful environment.
