General information

Background: Austrey CofE Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. All of the classrooms and the library are equipped with multimedia computers, at least two of these in each room are networked and have an internet capability. Each class has its own e-mail address. The school employs a specialist ICT teacher one day a week who works with pupils in small groups. The school aims to provide enjoyable, meaningful learning opportunities in physical education. Games played include activities such as football, netball, rounders, cricket, cross-country and area sports. The school aims to create a happy, caring, secure environment in which the young child can develop confidence, individuality and good relationships with others. .
