General information
Background: Little Heath School is situated on the western edges of Reading. It is a comprehensive school popular in the local community and over-subscribed for entry at 11. The sixth form is growing rapidly. The school is catering for expansion by the opening of a new mathematics block in October 2004. There is a wide range of clubs and societies, which meet at lunchtimes and after-school. Music is performed by a large number of children in bands, choirs and ensembles. The facilities for performing are excellent, including a fine grand piano, a range of instruments and keyboards and a music technology studio. Little Heath is characterised by a determination to raise the standards of achievement, and consequent life curves of all students regardless of their background, talent or abilities. .
