General information

Background: Baydon St Nicholas Church of England Primary School founded in 1843 as a National Society School and celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2003. The school has four distinct areas. The original 1843 building houses its foundation stage classroom as well as office accommodation. It also provides a cookery and television area. In 1966 additional accommodation was added, consisting of a large classroom, school kitchen and a spacious hall, which is used for worship, physical education and as a dining room. A new purpose-built teaching area is now fully integrated into the existing accommodation. The school aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. A wide range of extra-curricular activities is offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby.
