General information
Background: Corsham Primary School is currently divided into 14 classes for pupils ranging in age from four to 11 years. The school moved to new buildings, overlooking the Marlborough Downs, in February 1994. The facilities in the new building include a central atrium, hall, kitchen and 10 classrooms. The grounds contain a sports field, two playgrounds, two adventure playgrounds and a pond site. The school runs several out-of-school sporting activities including football and netball and children are offered the opportunity to learn string, brass or woodwind instruments. The school aims to be a recognised centre of excellence and innovation in where the rights and aspirations of pupils and staff are respected and developed, with parents and the wider community making a full contribution.
