General information

Background: A small village school with a 'strong Christian family ethos that is an essential part of our working relationship with the children and parents'. The school is fortunate to be sited on the edge of the Clarendon Estate which offers regular opportunities to observe the local woodland wildlife. Well-resourced for a small school, there are computer networks in every classroom. Pitton Primary has 'an excellent reputation' for music and three children have won scholarships to the cathedral school since 1997. A new purpose-built school is due to open in September 2001.
