General information
Background: Earley St Peter's School is a Church of England voluntary aided primary school, which serves the local area. The school is set in large grounds adjacent to Earley St Peter's Church. There are separate playgrounds for infants and juniors as well as an environmental study area including fenced ponds. There are excellent facilities, including a heated swimming pool, large hall and a wealth of resources with computers in every classroom. Developments include a new central library, a resource centre and refurbishment of all classrooms. An ICT suite was also opened in 2002. The school offers various extra-curricular activities and clubs which include French, chess, computer clubs, arts of music, pottery and dancing and physical activities including cricket, rugby, netball and soccer. All children are encouraged to participate in a variety of extended visits. The school aims to provide a caring Christian community and a happy, secure and stimulating environment in which children are encouraged to reach their full potential.
