General information

Background: Abbey Park Middle School is situated close to the centre of Pershore not far from the Abbey and Abbey Meadow. Pupils study all aspects of the national curriculum and start to learn French in Year 6. The school currently holds and Activemark Gold, awarded by Sport England for 'dedication and opportunity in the sports arena'. The arts have retained a high profile and pupils have the opportunity to take part in a range of drama, music, art and dance. Children benefit from specialist teaching at an early age and 'strong' partnerships have been developed with parents and the local community. There is a special educational needs (SEN) department, which is staffed by trained teachers and teaching assistants. The school aims to identify, diagnose and support the needs of all children.
