General information

Background: South Bromsgrove Community High School is part of the three-tier system of schools in Bromsgrove. It is situated on the southern edge of the West Midlands conurbation and extends into the rural landscape associated with the County of Worcestershire. From the south of the town pupils come from old, new and municipal property, with over 300 others from outside the catchment area, beyond into the countryside. The school has a view of both its own and neighbouring playing fields, and the buildings have won awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Civic Trust. Currently a £25m campus new build is being constructed on the school fields. The school will move into these exciting state of the art facilities in September 2007. The school aims to create a caring school that is committed to develop independent learners in a climate of challenge and opportunity. The school focus strongly on the all round development of all members of the community.
